Details: Mount Washington Resort hosts the American Culinary Federation’s 31st Annual Taste of New Hampshire Food Festival on Friday, May 9. The gourmet delights will entice every palate during this annual fundraiser. Organized by the American Culinary Federation’s five New Hampshire chapters, this fundraiser benefits two ACF programs -- Chef and the Child and Chef and the Schools. The event also supports the continuing education courses in which member chefs are enrolled, as well as on-the-job training programs for culinary students. A great way to thank the special lady in our life, this Mother’s Day weekend is an exceptional place to celebrate with a hosted weekend of festival food and wine.

The Grand Gala cocktail reception will begin at 6 pm in The Mount Washington Hotel, with the ACF contributing chefs and businesses displaying their epicurean talents at this opening affair. There will be numerous live-action chef tables, each preparing their special hors d’oeuvres for the evening. At 7 pm, we adjourn to the award-winning Dining Room for a savory four-course dinner prepared by the ACF chefs, with dancing and music provided by the Mount Washington Orchestra.

Saturday, more delicious fun waits with culinary demonstrations and live musical entertainment.

Gala Dinner Tickets:
Friday’s Gala dinner tickets are available separately for $55 per person and include tax and gratuity. A reserved table of ten is $500. Children ages 4-12 dinner tickets are available for $25. Children ages 3 and under are complimentary.

** Tickets can be picked up on Friday from noon to 6p in the Great Hall.

For The Special Mom:
Mom deserves an extra special acknowledgement during this weekend. Not only will she enjoy the 31st Annual taste of New Hampshire Gala on Friday evening, she and will be greeted with a flower just for her.

Kids’ Club:
Kids ages 4 to 12 enjoy a vast array of activities under the guidance of our experienced Kids’ Club counselor team. During the 31st Annual Taste of New Hampshire Food Festival weekend, these fully supervised program sessions begin in the Kids’ Club room on the lower level of The Mount Washington Hotel. Our Evening Kids’ Club program kicks off with registration at 6:00 pm. Children attending the program are to be registered by 6:15 pm. Reservations are suggested and can be made at the Adventure Desk; space is limited.
